Start Date: March 21, Course runs Every Saturday for 4 Weeks. 
 
Time: 2-4 PM

Course Outline:
 
Week One 
1: Intro to fashion illustration 
2: Free hand figure drawing vs illustration and magazine 

Homework: Practice three figure drawings from magazines 
 
Week Two
1: Learn about figure drawing details
2: learn about textile/ pattern rendering 
 
Homework: practice textile rendering, bring a pastiche reference 
 
Week Three:
1: Work on mimicking a pastiche 
2: Learn about technical sketches 
 
Finish technical sketches and pastiche
 
Week 4
1: Create 3 fashion illustrations using print, design techniques 
2: Finish presentation and present 
 
Students are required to purchase or bring a sketchbook for this class. All additional material will be provided for this class.
